As the Financial Officer and Statistician for The Clever Catalyst, David Underwood is the strategic architect behind our numbers. David works in close partnership with Christi to ensure the financial and internal health of the company remains on track. Beyond the balance sheet, he is the "data translator" for our clients—taking complex data dumps from SEO, Ads, and Analytics and distilling them into actionable, high-level insights. With a dual focus on fiscal health and statistical accuracy, David ensures that every move we make is backed by solid evidence.
Beyond the Numbers
David Underwood has been working for The Clever Catalyst in an unofficial capacity since its inception, as he is in a long-term, committed, co-parenting, paying-too-much-for-rent, legally binding, life partnership with the owner.
He splits his working time 70/30 between homeschooling their only (but stubborn-enough) child and crunching the numbers. He splits his non-working time 70/10/10/10 between football, cooking fancy things from scratch, reading nerdy things, and learning the guitar, as a leftie.Â
